This
85,000 sf project involved the construction of a new
addition as well as the complete remodeling of the existing
building. The complete building will house microbiology
laboratories and their support spaces, Class 100 through
Class 10,000 clean rooms for pharmaceutical manufacturing
and their support spaces as well as offices and storage
spaces. Work also involved providing new air distribution
system and emergency power system and structurally upgrading
the existing structure to current codes. This build-out
was designed using segregated document packages to allow
fast track construction and required close coordination
with existing adjacent laboratories so as not to disrupt
on going research work.
